Accessing your membership services without the use of MyGSL

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by ongoing technical issues with the My GSL platform. We would like to assure you that we are working hard with our third party supplier to find a solution.

Until MyGSL is fully functional again, we kindly ask you to refer to the below FAQs, which provide a guide on how to gain access to the various member functions that are usually offered within MyGSL.

How can I renew my membership?

You can renew and pay for your membership via our online form. Please visit our renewals page for further information.

How can I access the Lyell Collection and my subscribed journals?

You can login to the Lyell Collection directly from the Lyell Collection website using your Lyell login. From there you can also access your subscribed journals.

How can I log my CPD?

You will find a CPD logbook available to download from our CPD page of the website. The document can be found in the right hand box underneath the title Downloads. Please use the logbook in the interim until MyGSL is back in service. You will then be able to record your logged CPD electronically.

How can I apply for Chartership?

You can apply for Chartership via our online application form, found on the Chartership page of our website.

How can I update my personal details?

To update any personal details such as a change of address or email, please contact the membership team at membership@geolsoc.org.uk.

How can I access my third party discounts?

Please email membership@geolsoc.org.uk to gain access to your 15% discount for Cotswold Outdoor and 70% off Geologize courses. You will need to provide your membership number.
